Is your service available in my State / Country?
My Streaming Wedding is available throughout the United States, in addition to many international markets. Most of our videographers are based near major metropolitan areas, but we are happy to travel to serve more remote locations.
What type of technology is used to broadcast a wedding? How reliable is the signal?
My Streaming Wedding uses the industry’s most reliable and versatile broadcasting equipment to ensure that every wedding is streamed without issue. Our videographers are equipped with the same wireless technology as TV News crews use to deliver high-quality live reporting from the field. This technology allows us to provide stable HD video streaming from just about any location, without having to worry about the wedding venue providing internet access.
As an added bonus, our high-tech streaming packs are fully portable / battery powered. This means that we are able to stream in full HD quality, to anywhere around the world – while moving around the wedding venue! Contrast this to other streaming providers who will be relegated to a fixed location for the duration of the broadcast and it is clear that our solution provides the best viewing experience for your online audience. After the ceremony is finished, it is quite common for our videographers to follow along with the couple as they attend a photoshoot or rove around the ceremony venue interviewing friends and family.
In addition to live-streaming equipment, our videographers are equipped with a professional HD video camera and wireless microphone to capture pristine picture and sound.
What browsers / devices are supported?
Our live-streaming is supported on all major destkop / laptop browsers, including Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer and Firefox.
We also support all iOS devices and Android devices version 4.0 and greater.
How many online viewers can simultaneously watch my wedding broadcast?
Unlimited! Whether you have 10 viewers or 1,000’s, our robust streaming infrastructure is able to meet the demand. We utilize a global content delivery network (CDN) to host your live wedding feed, which ensures that viewers all over the world can view your live stream with minimal delay and at the highest quality.
Do viewers need a high-speed internet connection to view the webcast?
A high-speed internet connection of at least 5 Mbps download speed is required for HD viewing. If your connection is slower, you may need to select a lower viewing quality. The minimum required download speed is 500 Kbps.
Can I re-watch the broadcast on-demand? Is it possible to download the video footage?
Yes, we upload an on-demand recording of your wedding after the broadcast is completed. In addition, we can provide you with a download link to save the HD video file to your computer.
What deposit is required to book my date?
For our Platinum Package, a 50% deposit of the estimated total booking cost is required to reserve your wedding date. Full payment is due 14 days before the wedding.
We accept personal checks and all major credit cards.
How long have you been in business?
Through our parent company, StreamByte TV (www.streambyte.tv), we bring over 10 years of experience in live-broadcasting and video production. My Streaming Wedding was founded as a subsidiary in 2013.
Do you stream events besides weddings?
Yes we do. All non-wedding events are handled by our sister site, StreamByte TV – www.streambyte.tv.
